Well guys and gals. I think I have created a monster. All I hear anymore is "we fishing this weekend?" "Can I build some more lures?" "Lets go fish!" The other day she was talking about wanting to fish a buddy tourney together. What a rough life I live now. ;D

As for an update. She is doing very well. She prefers throwing a baitcaster over my spinning reel now. She is also learning to fish a jig, senko, shake head, and soon will be poppers. 8-)

LOL oh the horror! How will you ever deal with this.

Not sure but I'm managing it day by day.   She just emailed me and said she was off work Sunday.  Second line.  "So we gonna fish sunday?"  Oh the horror. LOL

The real danger is that she starts to spend as much on tackle as you do. ;)

Way to go man. My wife and I spend a big part of our recreational time fishing. She enjoys it as much as I do.

Instead of waiting for that special occasion, it's

time to surprise her with her own rig. Not one of

your outfits, but a new one of her own. Take my

word for it, you will be glad you did!

;D ;D ;D

We have so much fun fishing together! Yes, as RW said, get her her own rig (or several). The last gift I received (last week) was another G Loomis GLX. I think I'm addicted to them.

This is the 3rd year we've fished a couples club. It's great to share our passion!!! and yes, it's expensive :o

Hope you both continue to enjoy!

You guys are starting to scare me. LOL

I did just buy "her" another lake lot.  Now I have access to 2 more lakes.

I think you guys are right though.  Its time for her some of her own stuff.

Yup! It really sucks being the grown-up when she loads the basket at the Fleet Farm store, and I have to make HER put it back.

I AIN'T GEARED FOR THAT! :o

My gal has whipped me more then once. If she starts to do it consistantly then she can teach me. ;) I want her to tie into a really big one though. Heck our regular bass season doesn't start until the third week-end in June (19th) She took the whole next week to go bass fishing (that includes our 43 anniversary :) ) Yup that's my girl.
