We caught a few nice ones on KY Lake yesterday. Seems like the water temps. are a little cold still, my opinion. The bite was slow and sporadic but we saw two 5.4s, a couple of 3's and 2's. A few other smaller ones as well.

We had luck in two back bays, near grass and brush along the flats. Chatterbaits, Rat'L Traps worked the best for us.

All in all, not a bad start to the spring season.

Awesome catch, guys.  Fishing wouldn't be fun if you didn't have to work for your bites.

Was the water clearing any? I was down on the South end

of the lake Wednesday, and it was still pretty darn muddy.

The current they are pulling is swift too! We caught 3 small

keepers and a few short fish up in the bck brush.

The water temps do seem behind schedule warming up. I

hope you have a great year. We are so blessed to have this

great fishery.

We put in at Kenlake ramp,  the water was stained but it wasnt real bad.  Barkley was a lot muddier though.
