Id start with a Lipless crankbait or jerk bait to try and locate some active fish. Then go back and pick apart smaller areas with a Jig or any finesse tactic you have confidence in. But this is just general advice based on the VERY limited information you gave. Good luck! Have Fun  :)

Hey you would probably get some great and specific advice if you let everyone know where your fishing

thanks for the advice tournament is coming up in like a month. As far as more details im fishing on a lake called lake holiday. its a private lake water im sure would be fairly clear depending on if we get rain. temp would be pretty cold considering most of the lake still has ice on it. lake also has alot of docks, 5 coves, and a spillway where the face on both sides are pretty well covered with structure. i actually have a shakey head set up on one of my rods and a lipless xcalibur xrk75 on others as well as jigs on others. thanks for the feed back cant wait to get more.

Sounds like you have a good idea of which baits types to use. might consider a t-rig and spinnerbait set up as well to cover all the bases...

Good luck and welcome to Bass Resource, glad to have you aboard
