Went out today about 4pm. Planned on fishing until dark. Since I have been in Florida for the winter I have been bank fishing public ponds & one private golf course. I can only fish the private area when a new found buddy takes me in as his guest usually once a week . All the other time is spent fishing the local subdivision pond & other public access areas. I found a public area which seem promising. My biggest in the local pond has been 2.5 lbs. lots of action but no size. My biggest in my favorite newly found pond was 4lbs earlier this week. Today on the last cast before leaving I caught this girl. Got a guy walking by to take the picture. I'm having a lot of fun learning new water & the nuances of fishing ponds & canal/pond waterways.

Your surrounded by big fish! They must like you? When you migrate back north keep going and turn a little towards the Northeast and sit in the back of my boat!! Maybe you could attract some of those big bass towards my boat! ;D

Nice fish. Whereabouts are you in Florida? I grew up in dade City and really miss the fishing opportunities there. Keep em' coming...

We are in Palm Beach Gardens just south of Jupiter & directly east of the big O.

That's a nice one, Dwight.  Did you get a weight on her?  Beautiful fish!
