carolinabassin Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 What is the best fishing lure you have ever used or had the most luck with? Quote
Guest Texas_Bass_Pro Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Zoom Baby Brush Hogs/ t-rig. Although the Strike King Jig is coming in pretty hard. Quote
HPBB Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 a T-rigged 4 inch BPS Magnum Flippin Tube. #13 melon pepper. I know if nothing else is working. I can catch a bass on my green tube. This is my #1 goto bait. Quote
cabela10 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 2.5" Gitzit tube in green pumpkin with a 1/16oz insert jighead, gamakatsu hook. Quote
The_Natural Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I've probably caught the most bass since I started bass fishing on a Gene Larew 8" hooktail worm in tomatoe color, but they totally changed the mold and plastic, so I haven't actually fished that particular worm in over a decade. Hard jerkbaits like the Smithwick Rogue would be a close second. Quote
JigNBig Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 i dont think u can go wrong with a yum 7 inch ribbontail worm in any color you like and second would be a Lucky Craft LVR 200 Quote
Super User RoLo Posted January 10, 2007 Super User Posted January 10, 2007 It's interesting that no one yet mentioned the notorious Senko! My favorite bigmouth lure is the Plastic Worm. I lump stick-worms into the same category (senko, tiki stick ~ ~) which I find no better, no worse. Roger Quote
Vyron Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 close call between spinnerbait and soft plastic Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 10, 2007 Super User Posted January 10, 2007 Take a look at this thread that ran a few of weeks ago: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1166315137 Quote
Lane Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I would have to agree with Rolo and Doug Hannon, the plastic worms. I personally prefer, Yamamoto, Spike It, Grandebass, Roboworm and Bass Assassin. Quote
Rattlinrogue Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 In 30+ years of bassin',I've caught more bass on some form of T-rigged plastic worm. Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 With the 4inch Ribbontail Powerworm I can usually always catch a bass(Camo, or Redshad) The 4inch Cinnamon Senko would be a close 2nd. And for 3rd Iwould say a 4inch YUM WoolyHawg Tail in Greenpumpkin. Quote

WhiteMike1018 Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 7" Berkley Power Worm in Red Shad Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Vyron this is a link to the 4inch ribbon tail(thought I heard it was called ribbontail somewhere) powerworm I was talking about http://www.berkley-fishing.com/cat.php?k=49658&sk=46684. Although my 2 most deadliest colors are camo and redshad. (Notice the first worm has the same title, but is a different worm, I guess this is a mistake on their part, anyway the 3rd worm is the worm I call the ribbon tail and catches me most of my fish ) Quote
