Went out yesterday about 7-8 miles down the shore looking for some hungry smallies. Caught around 8 fish mostly smaller ones. Surface water temp was 58 degrees fishing in 17 to 25 fow. Started getting into better quality fish. Caught this one on a lc staysee jerk bait. Was watching the horizon & this big dark front kept getting closer. Decided to head for the barn before it was too late. Got back to the dock & took this picture.

Nice fish Dwight.

You look a little bummed out ~ couldn't be the fish . . . .

Must be because you had to return to the dock while fish like that were biting.

Still, a good call.

Dwight,

Just another nice smallie.  I can't wait to get out and chase a few tomorrow.  Thanks for the inspiration.

RW,

Tried the hair jigs myself yesterday up high. No bites yet. Probably too warm water temps. It can only get better if you wait it out.

When can I come....I don't get any that size 'round these parts, but I can dream.
