pipho Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 A while ago I got some 6" GYCB worms in lemon color. In what situations would you use this color? Quote
CrazedL.IFisherman Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 This color along with bright pink, orange and very strong chartreuses catch bass when they are aggressive, seems to work in the early a.m times for me, but they can work whenever, while on vacation an owner of a tackle shop that i go to put it best" when they want these bright colors, thats all they want and they will smash em, when they dont want em, they'll ignore them", so basically some days they will only touch these colors and others they ignore them like the plaque, after learning this my friend bought bubble gum colored worms, used them the following day and was catching fish left and right, i used more natural greens and darker colors to test the theory, sure enough i was lucky to catch a bass or two. Guest the_muddy_man Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I would use them in "ICED TEA" colored water Quote
Chris Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 You could use it as a trailer for a spinnerbait or fish it like a grub and swim it around cover. Early in the morning or in stained water swim it next to logs or rip rap largemouths will smack it. Sometimes I stick them on a jig head and fish it like a crankbait for smallmouths. Quote
