endless Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 I went to try a new pond in AP Hill that I've been wanting to try for awhile now. I got there quarter till 7 and stayed till bout 3:30 or so. I caught only 4 on the day, all on the wacky rigged. The biggest was 3.12 and the other close to 1 1/2 maybe. The other 2 was small. I tossed out c-rig smoking rooster, DT6, and a Ribbit but no luck on either 3. A few hits on the frog but nothing took and I had one monster smack too. The pond deepest point was bout 12' and it had tons of sunken trees and lilies. Allot of grass too. The middle of pond was very flat. I heard one huge splash across from me and I looked around to see if anything popped out the water just in case was maybe an otter or beaver but saw nothing. If was a fish I'll be back for em. Quote
