Thanks to TIN...I am now doubting my the reading on my scale....It came up as a 6.9 lb fish, but i guess there is a chance my Rapala digital scale is off....Let me know what you think she weighs.

Thanks

Wow...nice work, Vinny.  7lb bass is very impressive for Minnesota (I grew up in St Cloud area.)

Great fish! If people only knew how hard it is to catch a 7 out of MN. That is gorgeous and my hats off to you sir.

She weighed a tad under 7 lbs, but for the sake of saying i caught a 7 lber i added a few ounces

Continue to add an ounce or two each time you tell the story, and by this time next year, she'll be a nine pounder! Not only is this an accepted practice, but it's actually necessary. Over the years, so many people have added weight to their catch that it has become expected. If you told the truth and said "I caught a 6.75 lb bass", most fishermen would naturally assume that the fish really weighed 6 lbs even. One word of advice though, when adding weight to your catch, never take pictures! ;)

P.S. I'm just messin' with you, Bro. Nice catch!

Nice fish but sorry man that is not close to 7 pounds, more like 5 or so and the fish in your second pic looks around 4.5 or so.

Still a great catch.

It has nothing to do with calling you out. I would rather have someone tell me I was wrong than going around showing people a picture of a 4.5 that I said was 7 and looking like a dumb__ . It's a learning process man. It's a nice fish regardless and to come on a deep crank is something I wish I could do. Just trying to help...

i was thinking the same thing Tin. However, like i said earlier, Vinny constantly pulls good looking bass in MN and he is fishing from a pontoon boat! I agree with Tin that the scale is off but i have never seen any of your fish that looked under 4 and i think you do a great job. Keep rippin lips.

Yup, you will get very far in college with this level of maturity and not accepting when you're clearly wrong. ;)

I'm out of here.

Nice fish regardless, however I have to agree with whoever said one looks like a 4lber and one a 5lber.

Time for a new scale for xmas ;)

Awesome pull though

Nice fish man!  The one in my avatar is my PB.  Never even put on a scale as I didn't have one.  I just tell everyone it was 9lbs.   ;D  But honestly, I haven't caught enough bigger fish to make a good estimate.  I just thought 9lbs sounded good.
