In honor of the "silver fox" returning to the Minnesota Vikings i decided to throw the crankbait shown below, and boy did i smack em. I caught well over 10 including 2 pike within 3 hours. All in all Brett Favre can do everything, including making the fishing amazing the day he decides to return!

Congrats on attributing a standard summer pattern to Brett Favre! 

Let's see how much he has left in the tank, I am guessing first 8 games he'll go 15/4 TD/INT and the last 8 will go 6/6.  No man can beat age.

Well if it wasnt for ESPN and all the major networks making up stories every week that make him look like a pre-madonna then there would be more people that loved him as much as the whole state of MN

I'm not saying he doesnt like it, of course he does. On the other hand the media makes everything way more intense then it needs to be. In the last two years there have been dozens of "breaking stories" that reporters have either made up or assumed to get people to watch/pay attention to their story. For instance this year ESPN broke a story regarding someone heard that Favre texted people saying "he might retire". Really....that's a story?? The guy doesnt ask for all of the attention, its just blood sucking reporters wanting attention and to get recognized.

It's nothing new, Vinny.  The sports media have always been like that.

I like watching the guy play.  But watching this each year is just getting old.  So is he.  He needs to leave while he still has a functioning brain stem.
