Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted August 12, 2010 Super User Posted August 12, 2010 A couple weeks ago I tried a SPRO Frog for the fist time, caught my PB in 15 minutes. A few days after that caught a real nice one. Now though Ive been out 3 more times, just got back from the 3rd, twice at the same place and once at another lake, SKUNKED all 3 times I bought other colors & a SPRO Popper just haven't tried them yet so hopefully a color switch will help. Big-O Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 You're doing just fine and WTG on the new PB If they don't want to come to the top to visit you, go to the bottom to visit them...A little T rigged Soft plastic will probably do the trick for you Big O www.ragetail.com Quote

What makes a great fisherman is being versatile and adapting to what the fish are telling you. Quote

These trips though were specifically to try the frog and just get more experience with it. One lake 1/2 of it is a carpet of slop and the other lake 1/3 a blanket of lily-pads. Never tried the areas but seeing all the reports of frog use by others decided to try it myself. Quote
