Went to Pickwick yesterday afternoon after I seen they were going to be pullin water pretty good. Went to my first spot and it was cold. Pulled up and went a mile down to my 2nd spot where I caught the 9 lber a couple weeks ago and it was on once again. Had 21 lbs in my first 10 casts with a 3/4 oz. Football Jig w/ Rage Tail Falcon Craw trailer. It's a hump pretty close to the river channel that is loaded with mussel shells on top. Caught these 2 on back to back casts. Sat there and smoked em all afternoon.

A little Pickwick Gold when it comes to structure fishing ledges and humps. Drug a couple of these up with my jig from time to time.

WTG TNB, you've got'em rounded up for sure...Rage Falcon Lake Craw is still hard to find but they're starting to hit more store shelves all the time. Where'd you find'em

On the last of the 4 packs I had from when I found them back in June at BPS.  Been trying everything to make em last as long as possible.  That's why I called you a couple weeks ago to find out where I could get more because nobody had em and I was runnin low!

Man you really smoked them. I have been fishing Pickwick but not doing nearly as good as you. I have been fishing in Yellow Creek. We need to go sometime so you can get me started fishing deep ledges.

Ledge fishing has slowed a bit for me the last 2 weeks or so.  Still catch em on humps, but even it has slowed down.  The grass is coming on good now and we've found the good fish that we had been catching have moved up into the grass in about 8 ft of water.  Algae bloom is in full swing and the baitfish and fry from the spawn are all over that and the bass have followed them.  Fished last night and for two hours before dark and it was almost a fish every cast with a 6xd on the hump where I caught the 9 lber a few weeks ago, but they were all between 1-3 lbs.  Moved up and fished some scattered grass on top of a little ridge and caught em every cast with the shakey head and jig and the quality was better.  Fished til 3 am and wore em out on a big spinnerbait.  Best 5 went right at 20 lbs.  Lots of 3-4 lb fish.

ghogan52- you, me and TN Basstracker should hit KY Lake sometime. What works best for you guys, weekday or weekend? Let me know! Westtennesee1...

Buddy of mine has been catching 22-26 lb sacks consistently every weekend up at Ky Lake.  He won an ABA tourney a couple weeks ago with 25.60.  They are on fire there from what I've been hearing.

I work nights 4 days a week. I can go almost every Friday or on the weekend with some advance notice for scheduling. It would be great to get with some of the other West Tennessee Bass Resource members.
