pudmunk Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 730pm-1230am Good times Buddy caught a 4lber on his 2nd cast (not good) he ended up with 4 total slow night They were out as they were coming up on the surface but not biting much. Finally around 11pm as I've caught nothing my buddy was saying he was really upset I wasn't able to get a fish. I told him, not a big deal...just glad to be out here. 2 casts later BOOM.... Senko brings me in a nice 3.5lber (nice for me) Night fishing is def different, and was hard as there was no moonlight so it was dark as nuts. We did have headlamps and flashlights. Good times Quote
Super User Shane J Posted July 10, 2010 Super User Posted July 10, 2010 Yeah, it's a different world at night. It's heart pumping stuff when a big bass smashes a topwater 6' from the boat! Quote

Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 10, 2010 Super User Posted July 10, 2010 I absolutely love night fishing. Like Shane said, the sound of a strike on a topwater at night is just unbelievable. Night fishing also forces you to develop you sense of feel with your rod. You can really learn how to use a worm or a jig if you fish them enough at night. Quote
pudmunk Posted July 12, 2010 Author Posted July 12, 2010 Nice, gonna try it again in the next 2 weeks Quote
