Red Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Caught a bunch this morning, all on either a fluke or a jig. This was the best one, about 4lbs. Caught on a jig I made with a Rage Tail Craw trailer. Something about those Rage Craws, I usually go for the Pacas only because they are cheaper, I went last night and broke down for one pack of Rage Craws, fish seem to like them better! The jig I made was a light green with a few strands of purple and the craw was watermelon w/ red flake. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted May 30, 2010 Super User Posted May 30, 2010 Nice bass !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Red Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 Went again this morning, only three today, one keeper. It was this nice little chunk. All fish caught on rage craw. Apparently I am only allowed one keeper fish per outing. I can catch a hundred dinks but getting two keepers is not allowed. Today I actually had another keeper on my spinnerbait, but after one quick shake of its head it was gone. I knew I wouldn't land it due to the fact that I had already landed my daily keeper about two hours earlier. ;D Quote
Big-O Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Hey Red...better be glad I don't know where you're fishin' or I might be there tryin' to give you some help ;D Just keep on'em Man and that water looks great too Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
Red Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 I will keep at it for sure. Normally I don't put so much pressure on myself to catch bigger fish, I am just happy to be out there. However, my brother is coming to visit from Ohio at the end of the month. I would hate for him to come all that way and catch a bunch of dinks, he can do that without traveling halfway across the country. I really want to put him on some better fish than he normally gets up there. Hopefully I can figure them out a little better by then, it dosen't help that my depth finder died and I won't be able to replace it before he comes!! Either way, the Rage craws are working great, burned through a whole pack between yesterday and today. Cliff Quote
