Headed to Cherokee this morning with my wife.  Fished 8-5, ran about 20 miles up the river.

Morning started off good, back to back fish off a rockpile about 5 casts into the day.  From there it got a little slow.  Slung everything but the kitchen sink at them.  Spent a good part of the day throwing a 4" Mission Fish and a Powerworm.  Blade produced the best though...

Wife caught her first largemouth, so I guess it was a good day.  Two sunburned people returned home to the kitties...

Glad y'all got to make a trip out.  Cherokee sure looks pretty!  Sometimes it's just being out there that makes the trip great, catching is a bonus.

Burley.....they do make a product for that red skin condition.....it's called SUNSCREEN.  I know, I have two bottles of Bullfrog in the boat.  Am shedding skin myself, maybe I'll learn to apply it.  Doesn't do a bit of good in the bottle!!! :D

looks like perfect conditions. why does that happen? first part of the day is killer, then it turns slow. even if you keep moving.

Kudos to the wife Burley. Could have been a little less leg in the second pic though.

Strange request, but here's more leg...

Is Cherokee clearer than other TVA impoundments?

It sure looks nice in your pics.

Nice pics. I like reports that make my office chair feel like I'm in a boat. :)

Hey, are those Skeet sneakers??  ;D
