I just landed this one today using a black/blue eakins jig. I didn't have a scale or any thing but I am putting her around #8.5 or more. I wear a 10.5 shoe and that's all I had to measure it by. On a side note it was caught from my private pond so that makes it even better.

If any one has pics of there PB so far this year i would like to see them :)

you can use the fish calculator in the tacklebox section for pretty good estimates, which you can get close here since it's pretty easy to figure out how long a shoe is... if your shoe is about 11 inches long, puts that fish around 6# and change. Still a great fish, and a pb is the best!

Yeah I would put that fish around 6lbs to 6 1/2lbs.

Never the less that's a really nice fish & it's always good to catch a new PB.  Congrats.

Very nice fish, I would say around 6ish. With the jig in the roof like that that is how you always want to hook them with the jig imo. You must have drilled her.  ;D
