Super User Dwight Hottle Posted April 13, 2010 Super User Posted April 13, 2010 Went out today with my little fishing buddy & got into some smallies Fished from 11am till 5:30pm before I pulled the plug. Caught 15 smallies & missed 4. Had four over 5lbs & 7 over 4lb. No 6lbers yet! Water temps were 46-47 degrees. Caught all fish on jerk baits in 15 to 23 fow. Here is a few pics of the bigger ones. pitchNbass Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Holy Smokes! I honestly don't know anything about smallmouth bass or northern fishing period, but that seems like some unreal fun! Pretty awesome job finding the fish in that kind of water. I'm impressed. Quote

shimmy Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Great fish. Between your avatar and all of your pictures, i am starting to believe that you are catching the same fish over and over again in the exact same spot, at the exact same time of day, wearing the exact same clothing. That takes skills Quote
oteymc Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Wow! BTW, I am flipping through an In-Fisherman mag yesterday and saw your avatar pic. Then when I started looking you have like 3 or 4 listings in the Master Angler listings! Congrats. Quote

Super User Paul Roberts Posted April 14, 2010 Super User Posted April 14, 2010 Nice to be back at it. All's right in the world again. Man! Those things must pull! How long does it take to boat one on a jerkbait? I've had smallies stalemate me below the boat for quite some time of course those were with lighter line. But those dogs must pull! Quote
brushhoggin Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 pic #4 is an insanely pretty fish. whats that one in your avatar pic weigh? you're not even extending your arms and it looks huge! had to be 6 Quote
Super User RoLo Posted April 14, 2010 Super User Posted April 14, 2010 Man-Oh-Man, those are super pigs, Dwight!!! You definitely have your hand on the pulse. The weight of those bronzebacks would keep most largemouth anglers happy. 8-) Roger Quote
