They had a blast. My cousins are 8 and 12 and on spring break this week. They love to catch fish so I offered to take them bream bustin today with their cane poles. They jumped at the opportunity and we had a great day on the water. Ended up with 9 fish on corks and nightcrawlers. Bream, Crappie, Nanny Shad and the youngest one even managed to hook into a nice bass but it spit the hook with an ariel show. Was giving that cane pole a fit for a minute. Also managed to come across a durn snake that was trying to get closer than I wanted him to be to the girls so he and my shotgun had a meeting and obviously the shotgun won. Anyways, overall it was a bit windy but turned out to be a good day of fishing and they had a great time. I had a great time even though I barely fished. Just baited their hooks and took the fish off for them. All catch and release today and we really enjoyed ourselves. here are the pics..
