After the weather yeaterday, I couldn't take not getting out at lunch time to wet some line! Well, only  brought one rod with me today, the spinnerbait rod. Things looked promising as soon as I got down to the lake.  Saw 2 small ones cruising along the shore. Started fan casting the spot, trying different retrieves and figuring out where they were holding. Everything finally clicked! Caught the one in the pic below (3lbs 5oz) at 12:30 and then a 2 pounder 10 minutes later and then another 2 pounder about 5 minutes after that! All 3 hit my spinnerbait (black/chart skirt w/a single colorado) like a freight train! Had to work for the 3 pounder too! She wrapped me up twice on submerged logs! I really did not want to leave!!! Here's the pic of the 3 pounder.

Great looking fish, glad to see you are getting some now.  By the way did you ever unload that trolling motor from the truck yet or are you still waiting for me to come down and do it for you? ;D  Maybe you can take half a day tomorrow and go fishing.
