My brother and I got out and fished a little on Sat.  His second fish of the day was this monster bass, she was almost 9lbs What a fish she jumped clear out of the water twice, scared the s!#* out of him.  I got a real good one too, mine went 8.25lbs.  We were using a new bait we got at BPS.  Storm Kick'in Shad in Shiner color, the bait looks just like a domestic shiner.  the big girls just loved it, we caught a close to a 30# limit. A little guy even tried out the bait,  25 fish total between the two of us in 2.5 hours.  (IT HAS BEGUN)

i've always liked storm lures. they are inexpensive, good looking and downright productive. not to mention they're really user friendly. that is a nice shiner imitation. i can't find that color online though. all i can find is the olive shiner, yours just looks silver which is what shad look like where i fish.
