Brendan Duffy Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 May not be huge, but I know it's my personal best! Not sure of the exact size tho! Quote
D4u2s0t Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 congrats on your pb!! If you don't have a scale (get one, they're cheap!!) take measurements at least. Quote
Brendan Duffy Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 congrats on your pb!! If you don't have a scale (get one, they're cheap!!) take measurements at least. I went home and ordered one right after that ;D ;D ;D Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted February 4, 2010 Super User Posted February 4, 2010 Nice fish. You didn't even have a tape measure ? Quote
bassman31783 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Great job. I would seriously get a scale like D4u2s0t said. Their cheap & they'll take ounces your bass' weight. ;D Pounds if it's a really nice one. But hey, at least you'll know the correct weight. Congrats on the PB though. Great looking bass. Quote
Brendan Duffy Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 Nice fish. You didn't even have a tape measure ? haha no, that was my second time bass fishing in my life (I started this past fall). All I had was a package of senkos, pliers, rod and reel, and the crank I caught it on. Now I know better. ;D Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 4, 2010 Super User Posted February 4, 2010 Getting a scale is terrible advice. Lying is so much better. I bought a scale, and it ruined a great run of trophy catches. Quote
sal669 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Noooo, Scales are good ! Just grab the fishes tail and pull gently untill the numbers match your "expectations". Now get somebody to take a picture of the top half of the fish and the scale (showing the"right" digits) and you got yourself a new world record bass.... Quote
