Super User .dsaavedra. Posted December 13, 2008 Super User Posted December 13, 2008 a friend showed me their website a few days ago. i came up with a few theories about their baits: 1.) they might work great 2.) they might be terrible 3.) they look incredibly soft from the videos, which means that their durability will be terrible 4.) they come only two to a pack (at least thats what they show on the video), and since they claim to have all this pheromone crap in them, they will probably be like $5 for a two pack. i think i'm gonna pass on these..... Mobydick Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I agree that their durability is going to be not so great. Here is the link if anyone needs it....http://www.triggerx.com/ Ian Quote
Super User Micro Posted December 13, 2008 Super User Posted December 13, 2008 I didn't see anything that particularly jumped out at me. They look like pretty traditional designs. The market is already saturated with good, traditional plastics. The tubes look kinda cool, though. The frogs look like Yum's Buzzfrog. I was hoping for something more eye-popping. And their website is a pain in the butt to use. Quote
VolFan Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 The baits look fine, but I absolutely hate the website. Quote
Thad Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 If that pheromone stuff worked I would just buy the scent in the bottle and use it on other plastics. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted December 13, 2008 Super User Posted December 13, 2008 Either way, it's nice to see them making a point to include the walleye fisherman; we're like the red-headed step-children of the soft plastic industry. It's usually all or nothing. Quote
NEKvt Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 If that pheromone stuff worked I would just buy the scent in the bottle and use it on other plastics. they are selling the scent, along with a wrap that will keep it on your lure for you. I will have to have it all of course.... what bass stands a chance with properly protected pheromones on my side Quote
