BassDeaton01 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Nice fish!! I see you have a pond prowler or something similar to it. I bought one a couple of weeks ago and love it. Way to go on the fish! Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 if only i could get jigs to work...tried em for years and still do, but never got the first bite yet Stick with it, and you'll be glad you did. For a long time I didn't think I could catch a fish with a jig. I would get them hung up, and not get bites, which would make me put the jig down and throw something else. Winter before last, I went out fishing with a friend of mine and he MADE me leave my tackle box in his truck. I had told him on the way to the lake that I hadn't ever caught a fish on a jig. He said "you're catching fish with a jig today, or you're catching nothing at all" After the first few hours of catching nothing, I was getting discouraged. Then I felt that first bump, I set the hook, and I've been stuck on jigs ever since. With more practice I started to catch more and more fish with them. I always have a jig tied on now. Quote

b.Lee Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 You should really stop carrying around the same bass to different locations and taking pics. No I'm just kidding, great bass collection you have had over the year. Quote
