Super User Long Mike Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 Another subject. Are any of you guys able to bring a charcoal BBQ pit to the outing? On Monday, Kent will be cooking burgers for us all, but the park has no pits anywhere near our watering hole. So far, we have only one small pit available. We need at least two pits, about the size of your standard Weber grill. Can anyone help out? Quote
Super User burleytog Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 Medium Mike, I've got a shovel and I'll even volunteer my skills as a hole-digging supervisor. BTW, anyone know off the top of their head if the lodge rooms have refrigerators/microwaves? Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 Burley, the lodge rooms have nothing more than a small coffee pot. Plan accordingly. As for your shovel, you know where you can shove it. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 Well fudgewater... If it wasn't such a PITA, I'd pack a small fridge. Guess the ice machine is gonna get a major workout every day. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 Burley, just to rub it in, I'll be packing a small fridge. Bought it at Walmart for $89. No, you may not share it with me. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted March 30, 2009 Super User Posted March 30, 2009 My dad has one he used in his office before he retired, but I'll just deal with packing ice in the cooler daily. Quote
ProCrafter Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Looks like I will be stopping at a Walmart and getting a cheapo cooler on the way there from Nashville. Quote

I'll be down to the lake as early as 11am. Quote
