R520dvx Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 The lake is at 356.33 this morning and predicted to be over 357.2 by Sunday. Plenty of rain predicted for the next 10 days, so it may make full pool or over. Main lake water temp at daybreak was 57.43 according to the biological station. You'll of course find surface temps over 60 on these warm sunny days. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted March 27, 2009 Super User Posted March 27, 2009 Mike, are you filling in for the Monday dinner or will it be a "on your own" night? I am sure I could come up with something if need be. Let me know. Wayne, That is a very nice offer, but I have Monday night covered. -Kent 8-) Quote
mattm Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 RW, I'm not sure if I or Cart ever got back to you, but I would appreciate use of your air matress if you still don't mind. Matt Quote
IdahoLunkerHunter Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Anyone available on a ride to the airport, I'll help for gas money... I have a ride to Kentucky Lake on the 4th. But I need a ride back to the airport in Nashville on the 10th anyone heading that way? Quote
Super User cart7t Posted March 28, 2009 Super User Posted March 28, 2009 After a week of bass fishing in KY, what makes you think you'll want to go home to snow, ice and cold temperatures? Quote
Super User burleytog Posted March 28, 2009 Super User Posted March 28, 2009 Here's my tackle list: t-rigged craws or creatures in black w/ red or blue flake, green pumkin 3/16 oz. sinkers Bandit 100 series cranks in a chartuese color 1/2 oz. spinnerbaits double willow chartuese and white skirt jigs in black blue or green pumpkin shakeyhead worm in a green pumpkin or junebug flukes in lemon shad or white Don't forget your Megastrike. I'm sure there are other baits that will work. Just my opinion. If anything else evolves, I'll let you know. Wish you would have posted that about a week or so ago. Now I gotta run to the tackle shop instead of getting it from my enabler. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted March 28, 2009 Super User Posted March 28, 2009 Just an experimental post on my wifes laptop. I'll take this down to the lake since they have wifi at the lodge. It appears her usb jacks aren't working so I won't be able to upload photo's from the camera. Quote

R520dvx Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Lake level at daybreak this morning was right at 357 ...... Mainlake surface temperature was 57 .... should continue to rise this week .... of course temps back in the bays and in the afternoon will be in the 60's. Quote
R520dvx Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Just a FYI ...... A minister friend of ours holds Sunday service in a floating chapel on the lake at Southern Komfort Resort. That is pretty close to Kenlake .... He started it up for fishermen, boaters, campers, and bikers ..... non-denominational .... VERY laid back ... in fact he will probably preach in jeans and a t-shirt. You can go by road or by boat .... tie up right to it !! If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll give you the info. Mods ..... I know we try to avoid political and religious posts .... Glenn suggested that I put this on here Quote
