Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted February 13, 2009 Super User Posted February 13, 2009 If I know Jimzee and Pitchin' Kid, they will likely be down for whatever... 170k acres of water. Bound to find some fish SOMEWHERE. LOL Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 13, 2009 Super User Posted February 13, 2009 I was planning on going to Barkley one day. I might as well make it Thursday. I'm in. Unless I'm on some big fish........ Then all deals are off. Quote
Triton21 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I plan on going to Indian River on Sunday. Like Gene if I am on big fish I will stay on Ky the rest of the week but if not I am game for Indian River on Thursday. I may look over the Devil's Elbow area of Barkley also. Kelley Quote
Triton21 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I would like to se a gathering, maybe at or after dinner, to discuss the fishing for that day. The members that are on fish can help those of us(ME!!!) that are not. Kelley Quote
Btech Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I have a boat that has an open seat for most of the week Firefightn15 and I are gona pair up for a few days. So any expierianced anglers who dont mind riding on a 14'ft 79 boat and are willing to teach me a little Id appriciate it. I know you were at the Fork trip (maybe both?), but I think it has gotten better since then (if you can imagine that LOL) Best advice is going to be staying as far away from where Burley is fishing. Fish size is relative to the amount of distance between his boat and yours. Quote

Thanks agagin to all the mods getting this thing going - I can't wait to meet you all in Kentucky! Typically the pairings seem to have just fallen into place. From what I saw last year, most of the arrangements were made at the previous night's dinner. If you want someone in your boat, there will be people there. Hell, I probably can't teach you anything but I am more than willing to fish that place with anyone. Quote
Btech Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 OK I didnt know if we were needed to pair up now or later but that andwers my question Are we there yet? Quote

Super User burleytog Posted February 13, 2009 Super User Posted February 13, 2009 We shall never have to deal with Long Mike again after Wednesday. Anyone want to buy a 17' Tracker? Quote

Super User cart7t Posted February 14, 2009 Super User Posted February 14, 2009 Great. Burley peeing on and off my back deck on Tuesday and Speedbead trying to leg hump me on Thursday. This is going to be like a Gallagher concert. I'm wearing a 50 gallon trash bag so I don't get anything on me. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 14, 2009 Super User Posted February 14, 2009 Does anyone have this strange sensation that everyone is getting really PUMPED about this trip? Quote
Super User cart7t Posted February 14, 2009 Super User Posted February 14, 2009 I just got to thinking. Do the rooms have any sort of mini fridges in them? The only reason I ask is I had hoped to bring some crappie back and I'm not sure what to do with them. Wonder if the lodge has any sort of freezer accomodations for guests? Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 14, 2009 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 14, 2009 Hey everybody - if you haven't signed up yet, IT'S NOT TOO LATE!! True, the lodge is no longer holding rooms for us, but we filled them up long ago, so that's not a factor. But that means space is limited! Don't wait! Sign up today before all the rooms are booked!
