Super User Gatorbassman Posted January 14, 2009 Super User Posted January 14, 2009 There are 4 power hook-ups in the Lodge parking lot. Bring an extension cord. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 14, 2009 Super User Posted January 14, 2009 I'm sure we can wrestle up a couple power strips to make more outlets if we need to. Shouldnt be an issue. Anyone else pumped yet? Quote

Oh, it will be an issue if more than four people plug in at the same time. Those onboard chargers pull a lot more amps than people think. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 14, 2009 Super User Posted January 14, 2009 Any body able to tell me what the temp is in that area at that time of year? Quote
1inStripes Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 From what I can find for the month of Apr in that area is: Avg High 70 Avg Low 47 Mean 58 Avg precip: 5.1 inches. March shows a mean of 48 degrees so hopefully you all should enjoy temps during the days of upper 50s or better. Those mornings might be a touch cool. EDIT: Adjusted March's mean temp. Typed Aprils by accident. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted January 14, 2009 Super User Posted January 14, 2009 Thanks, that helps alot. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted January 15, 2009 Super User Posted January 15, 2009 I'm sure it will be typical March/April weather in the south. One day you could have 70s and sun, the next 30s and snow. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 15, 2009 Super User Posted January 15, 2009 Based on the weather in Alabama last year, prepare for just about anything. The first three days we were there, it was actually warmer back home in Pennsylvania. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted January 15, 2009 Super User Posted January 15, 2009 Our first day at Guntersville last year was quite nice. Upper 60s and sunny. The second day was so crappy we came home. Buckets of rain and 30 MPH winds. Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted January 15, 2009 Super User Posted January 15, 2009 Wayne, keep an eye on Burley. He's an electricity thief. Hides it in a duffel bag with his dirty socks and underwear. He actually believes that no one can smell stinky electricity. Oh, I just remembered that I need to take my meds. Quote

Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 16, 2009 Super User Posted January 16, 2009 CJ, is there anywhere near the campground that you would consider a good place to fish for big catfish in the evening/night? I know some of the guys on the Fork trip spent time catching crappie at night near the dock, thought maybe we could organize a bank fishing deal one of the nights.... And beer. Quote
