paul. Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 i predict that one of three things will happen with the eeliminator very soon: 1. anglers who have discovered this bait's incredible mojo will start to horde and stockpile the eels making them almost impossible to find. very soon you will see people taking out 2nd mortgages on their houses, going hungry, or pawning wedding rings just to throw one more cast with these bass magnets. do not be shocked when you see a pack selling for 40 bucks on e-bay. 2. states will systematically start outlawing these baits so that it will become illegal to even have one in your possession. fish and game officials will search boats and anglers with specially trained "eel dogs" who can detect even a hint of coffee scent. 3. big o will realize that he has placed the fish population of the entire planet in jeopardy. his guilt-ridden conscience will force him to "dumb down" the eels so that they will only out-perform other baits 10 to 1. get them while they are still at "original strength" this has been a public service announcement. don't say you were not warned. here's a nice one from today with a circle hooked eel on my little spinning rod. hope y'all are catchin' some too. Super User Paul Roberts Posted October 15, 2009 Super User Posted October 15, 2009 here ya go Paul. these links from Big O's site should answer your question. http://www.ragetail.com/ragetalk/index.php?topic=1055.15 http://www.ragetail.com/ragetalk/index.php?topic=1068.15 Thanks Paul. A billfish hook eh? How cool is that! I may never try it, but I like to know what the possibilities are. Thanks. Oh...and I had to add this post of Big O's. It's really a creative way of offering kudos (not to put you on the spot buddy): "Paul never thinks inside the box...."Cause it aint Big enough" Briggin! Besides that, a box has four corners....and like me, he probably had to go to the corner alot when he was little and it wasn't a good time lol " Quote
Fat-G Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 In the words of FishChris: That's a sho'nuff hawg! ;D ;D ;D ;D Quote

Super User CWB Posted October 17, 2009 Super User Posted October 17, 2009 All I can say is Wow! Just got 3 packs at BPS and can't wait to try them. Might have to be next spring though. What color did you use? Quote
paul. Posted October 17, 2009 Author Posted October 17, 2009 white was the color. btw, i think a while eel is gonna be deadly for bed fishing next spring. between that and the baby craw, i think i'm set once the spawn gets here. Quote
shootermcbob Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 My 4 year old saw that fish and said" it's a whale!" congrats, that is a beast. Quote
NewAngler Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 As my 4 year old would say,"jeeeeesh" Amazing. Quote
Big-O Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Paul mentioned to me that he gave two quick twitches upon water entry and paused....kinda like a jerk bait, and she chowed it His idea is that when the bait splashes down and followed by the two quick twitches, it might mimick something being struck by another fish and frantically surfacing while avoiding being ate. His rigging is keen for sure with no hint of a hook and still completely weedless. With the water cooling down, the C rigged Eeliminator is hammer time for me. I like light weight set up's in shallower or low wind conditions and heavier rig for deeper or windy applications. I think Paul can catch biggun's on a boot lace www.ragetail.com Quote
mrlitetackle Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 good to see ya back here, and what a way to do it!!! ....yet, another extremely great fish for you! congrats man! Quote
