jasonl Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 So me and my gf decided to fish for about a half hour just to kill some time since we were going out soon. So we left the house with 2 rods and just a bag of green trick worms. I didnt expect anything special cause its just a small local lake that i go to when im bored. But i must hae been wrong because on the second cast I caught this cow of a fish. Im 6'2, so that a big fish. As i said i was just killin time so i didnt think about bringing my scale with me. i know it stinks. but thanks for reading, and may the fishing gods be with all of you. Quote

looking4structure Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Nice fish bud.Congrats on your new PB.I would say between 5.5-7lbs.Gotta love the trick worms. Were you wacky rigging them? Quote
ShawnCorreia Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 I would guess around 6-6.5# Now that you have the formula remember to bring a little tape measure whenever you go, like the one a seemstress would use. I know from experience...it sucks not knowing. My first PB was 5lb 2oz. I actually tied it to my boat (little row boat) with my anchor line so I could run to the store and buy a scale. (I thought it was 7 pounds)LOL Quote
jasonl Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 Nice fish bud.Congrats on your new PB.I would say between 5.5-7lbs.Gotta love the trick worms. Were you wacky rigging them? Texas rigged with a bullet weight. just twitching it on the bottem. i usually only wacky rig senkos Quote

Super User David P Posted September 27, 2009 Super User Posted September 27, 2009 Fish could go 7, but it'd be close, I'd say a safe estimate is 6 1/2. Quote
