basslovr Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Just a sample of what can be found in ponds and lakes around Clearwater, Florida. Caught this one on a Zoom trick worm.....junebug red....with a finishing nail in the tail for weight. Caught at about 4 in the afternoon on the outside edge of a grass mat casting parallel with the bank. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 8 oz. Quote
gar-tracker Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 The photographers thumb must weigh at least 2 pounds. 1 Quote
Under the Radar Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!!!! Lived in Largo 98-06 didn't start fishing for Bass til I moved up here in '06. A lot of folks would be truly surprised to see what some of these retention ponds can produce. Nice fish man I mean really nice. Quote
