Simp Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Pops on a bad day! A Good Day! A big 10# cat I caught on my meduim action crankbait rod with 10# test. I thought I had a PB here after a 10-15min head shaking fight. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted September 22, 2009 Super User Posted September 22, 2009 Those were some decent bass yall caught. Quote
Simp Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 Those were some decent bass yall caught. They got a little small on us this summer. Not to mention on our best day when we got into a slew of 4 or 5 pounders neither of had our phones/camera. I'm hoping to land some 7 or 8lbers this fall! Rather at least one! ;D Quote
looking4structure Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Nice fish bud.I've also caught several catfish this year bass fishing.I caught them on spinner baits.Nice pics. Quote
NewAngler Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 nice fish. what were you throwing over those pads, frogs? Quote
moloch16 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Hmmm looks similar to my fishing trips in August and Septmember except you can stop after the first three pictures. Beautiful scenery, unorthodox boat launches (complete with sailor talk), no fish. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted September 22, 2009 Super User Posted September 22, 2009 Those are some nice fish. Thanks for the pics. Quote
Super User Paul Roberts Posted September 22, 2009 Super User Posted September 22, 2009 Very nice. And some fun pics too. Thanks for sharing 'em. Quote
Simp Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 nice fish. what were you throwing over those pads, frogs? Rage toad on that day. BTW just incase my paint job on pic 3 didn't make it clear. The Trolling motor was left down and my dad tried to trailer it that way! ;D ;D Quote
BassinSoldier Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Those were some nice lookin' fish! Did your trollin' motor make it out ok? Quote
Simp Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 Well the prop shaft was bent so we had to take it in to be straightened. It's got a small wobble, but it's serviceable for now. A new trolling motor and a new boat is on the list of things to do during the winter months. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted September 23, 2009 Super User Posted September 23, 2009 Looks like a couple of productive months on the water from where I'm sittin'. Way to go Simp! (easy on that trolling motor fellas!) ;D Quote
FivePoundBluegill Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Holding a catfish by the mouth.... I honer your bravery! Quote
