Thai Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Went out boating and bbqing at a friends place in Pomonkey creek this Sat and decided i wanted to get my rod wet right before dusk. Started jigging off the dock with lizards along the weeds in about 3" of water. Caught 3 small 1-2's before getting slammed by this hog on a watermelon lizard on an outgoing tide. Weighed in at 7#2 and 23" Quote
Thai Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 thanks guys! This creek has always produced big fish for me esp right at the inlet during a fast tide on big swimbaits, you'll catch the occasional 15-20" striper too during summer months Quote
Hung up Paul Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 That's a good sized fish to be swimming around in 3 inches of water! ;D Quote
Thai Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 LOL! I didnt think anyone caught that it was 3' as in feet lol Quote
