Super User dodgeguy Posted August 9, 2009 Super User Posted August 9, 2009 7/8/09 lp kicks my butt on whaley -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lp and i fished whaley today and he kicked my butt 20 to 5.he's a great fisherman so i'm not ashamed.there was a tournament going and from the guys we talked to he would have beaten all of them also. the fish on whaley have gotten bigger lately as i would say we caught quite a few 2 lbs and up with the biggest being 2 3/4.weeds were way down on the lake so maybe it is because of the weather because a few lakes are having the same issue. the wacky rigged senko ruled the day.i caught one on a spinnerbait and one on a lipless rapala clack and rap.a few were caught on brewers grubs by both of us. i had a great time out with leigh.every time i go i'm amazed at how he manages to find fish one way or another.i've found myself using spinning rods a lot more because of his influence with the wacky rig and brewers grub.i think i will go out and buy a bunch of the brewers grubs.here's a few pictures from our outing.my wife says she wants to come with us next time.i think we would have to clean up our subject matter!!!ROFLMAO!!!: fishing2: Quote

nUgZ Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I was going to say the same thing as endless...he may have caught more fish, but it looks like your 5 would have definitely beat his best 5. Nice fish!! Quote
