my previous pb was 5 lbs which i got in april and i got this one on a chunk of hot dog while i was catfishing, this is the biggest bass i've ever seen in real life so i was quite excited ;D (i live in delaware haha) this bass went 6 pounds 5 ouncesIMG_0116.jpg Then about 4 days later i finally hooked into the big channel cat i was waiting for, he went about 6 1/2 pounds IMG_0135.jpg

way to go nice cat and bass. i do miss catfishing on the james river i have so much redemption there. i had two big ones get away while my buddy hook two 50 pounders blue cats. boy was i a jealous. all good though when get other boat running again i will be back out there.

i think this weekend ima try a new spot for bass near my house if the base lets me in. they train there so hopefully theyre not training. sorry bout that again nice fish bass and cat.

I love fishing for cats with Hot Dogs! You can't beat beat camping out and grilling some dogs, then using left overs as bait. I need do it again soon and dip them in JJ's also.

thanks everyone haha and yea i would say it's my lucky shirt now, the hot dogs were gwaltney chicken hot dogs  :D . My mom caught her first catfish the next day it went about 5 pounds. The fish in this little pond love big chunks of hotdog lol, yesterday a HUGE cat pulled my mom's rod in the pond and i still havn't found it  :-[
