CanalStalkin Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Went out today with my new BPS extreme combo spooled up with 30# powerpro. Windy as heck and was getting really frustrated with the baitcaster. after many backlashes and a sliced finger I finally got it dialed in and got to enjoy it. Started out with my snagless frog and wasnt getting any attention. threw on a t rigged red shad kinami senko and bam hooked up with this baby. I was amazed the difference in feel and power compared to my UL walmart spinning setup. Sadly the fish didnt make it. It was gut hooked and for the life of me I couldnt remember the tips on how to get it out. I tried everything short of just yanking. I cut the string at the hook and tossed em back in and he was belly up. Feel bad but I tried. Anyways I am very excited about the new setup and just thought id show this fish off. Not huge but hey. Ill take anything. Quote

Glad to hear you like the switch to the baitcast outfit, Ithink you'll really notice the difference the more you get to fish it. Sorry you lost the fish, but this happens sometimes. Fish on brother.
