Super User T-rig Posted July 31, 2009 Super User Posted July 31, 2009 Fishing is tough lately. Went out wednesday morning at 5am. Caught the first fish at 4pm. A small pike and a little later a 3lb. bass. I must be crazy to be still out on the lake I thought to myself..... At around 6pm I was just about to give up. I skipped a Javallon 160 under a dock (like I have done for hours) and got hit. I'm glad I stayed on the lake! Quote

Super User T-rig Posted August 2, 2009 Author Super User Posted August 2, 2009 Thanks guys! Rolo, I wish we had DD's around here. I didn't weigh the fish, my guess is around 6.5lbs. As for the rod. It's a cheap but very well made Daiwa Crossbeat (2 piece) 662MRB. http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/product_info.php?currency=USD&cPath=1005_1261_1006&products_id=6241 Quote
rfrazier Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Nice fish.... chunky all the way to the end. Did the fish hit it on the fall or the retrieve? Quote
Super User T-rig Posted August 3, 2009 Author Super User Posted August 3, 2009 Ray, on the fall. Quote
