Started out in a new area around here called "mud lake" part of the chain. Was throwing a spinner early off, saw a surface swirl so I overcast it with the spinner and got just past it and wham... landed this bad boy.

Moved through mud lake a bit, was throwing a jig caught some dinks in 5-10 fow, just couldn't get on top of anything decent size... pulled out atleast a dozen 1-2 pounders nothing over 3# at all. Seems to be something I'm struggling with, maybe because most of the bigger bass have moved deeper and this is a primarily shallow area.

This was the average size I was catching all day, jigs and t-riged senkos were the ticket.

Finally found an area with some decent slop and lillies.  I threw a frog at it for about an hour and landed 3 dinks... missed a few more.

The one in the picture was a GMAN 4/O EWG PBJ Jig with a netbait paca craw in PBJ on it.
