tallen316 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I went to my local pond and used my 4" watermelon with black flake. I fished it Texas rigged and caught the 2 biggest fish out of there I have caught. They werent big ones but its the biggest out of there so far. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that it seems like the durability is not what I hoped it would be. Quote

Tanker4lyfe Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 you want them to last get yourself some o-rings and an o-ring tool and fish them wacky. Quote
Quitlimpin Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Congrats, you are now hooked. GYM Senko's rarely last me more than 2 fish. After I get a good collection of torn up baits I bust out the Mend-It. Quote

Mr. Green Genes Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I caught half a dozen fish on the same trick stick this weekend. Black/Blue Laminate works GREAT when it's overcast. Quote
tallen316 Posted July 21, 2009 Author Posted July 21, 2009 So when you wacky rig a Senko how do you retrieve it? Any action needed to be made with the rod? Quote
Shimmer Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Great looking stuff at *! I've heard alot of folks raving about the Black Blue Laminate and was curious as to if there is some other hot colors in the 5" list there. Thanks! Quote
Shimmer Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Great looking stuff at *! I've heard alot of folks raving about the Black Blue Laminate and was curious as to if there is some other hot colors in the 5" list there. Thanks! Shimmer Shad is the hottest color right now. (like it was made for you, lol) For the most part, anything with watermelon or green or pumpkin (or any combination) are the hottest colors. Also the new Tilapia color is coming on strong. Hope that helps. Just know that for every person that hates one color, another wouldn't leave home without it. (including merthiolate) b Thanks for the information, I'm running out of stick worms at the moment so I'll be putting my order through soon. I'll definately keep the Shimmer Shad in mind! Quote
Mrs. Matstone Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Senko's have always been very good to me and I agree with everyone else here... ***.. ;D Quote
BassDeaton01 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 I had to find out what all the hype was about....I went out and bought some senkos two days ago and tried them out last night.
