When do you choose to use one with or without?

Do you have a preference for each season?

Do some of you always use jigs with rattle and some just never use rattles?

I'm new to fishing jigs so I need help.

Never made a difference with or without. If anything I think it helps the fish find it in grass or at night.

I've used both but find no difference in murky water, grass or at night so I don't use them at all anymore  ;)

i use rattles in dingy water or if the jig bite turns off. its only worked a few times for me on the latter. i usually use a black jig in shallow water when using rattles.

Judging by all of these posts, I guess it doesn't matter  ;)

Personally, I always use rattles. I don't have confidence without them.
