It was bluebird skies and bright sunshine in east Texas yesterday, so lots of big girls were tight to cover.  I spent most of the day pitching a jig to laydowns and stumps.  I caught a lot of bass in the 3 to 5 pound range with a couple just over 5 pounds.

Several times throughout the day I would pull a nice bass out of a tight spot, throw right back in there, and catch another nice bass.  They were really crammed in there it seemed.
