pa mountain man Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I learned a valuable lesson last night. I couldn't sleep, so I went to the lake to just do a little bank fishing, I was doing alright, nothing big, but the #'s were there. I walked out of the pole light range, and thought I hooked a nice one, got it to shore, reached down to grab him by the lip, and it felt like my knuckle was on fire. I "walked" the fish back to the lights, to find out I hooked a 13" musky! The first one I ever caught, and it was on a chatter bait. He tore my knuckle up a little bit, I guess I better watch out, he has a taste for humans now. ;D Quote
Eddie Munster Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 ;D Lesson learned: when doing ANYTHING at night, always get a look at what you're reaching for. Quote
Luke at Gouldsboro Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I guess that's why not too many blind people fish alone!!! ;D Quote

kms399 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 haa that reminds of a time when i was 20 or so. I was really hung over like i should have stayed home but someone was waiting for me and it was my boat so I had to go. we were into the bass pretty good and i had been lipping most all of them when i reachd down and lipped about a 14" pike. sad thing is i didn't even realize untill i got it half way out thats how slow my reaction time was.
