Thinking about getting the 2008 version for Xmas.  I am sure plenty of you have one.  Right now I have the Lowrance $99 chip.  Is the upgrade worth it and how do you like the 3D views?

I've been meaning to ask that question yesterday but the forum was in maintenance mode so I couldn't post.

After reading the F&Q on Navionics site. It state that the 07 and 08 version are the same except the 08 has added 160 lakes in HD. That I know of. If that is the case then I'll stick with the 07 because the lake I fish already has HD so I don't see myself spending other 150 dollars for the same lake map.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.
