I've recently started throwing frogs, probably 8 or 9 months. I have been using and liking the Snag Proof casting frog but I've noticed that after a few casts it fills with water and starts sinking. Does anyone know how to prevent this or a similar frog that does'nt have this issue or did I maybe just get a bum frog? For info's sake I really like this frog as it very strongly resembles the approx. size and color of most of the real frogs we have here and the bass almost can't leave it alone.

Snag Proof - Bobby's Perfect Frog

I'm a fan of Reaction Innovations' Swamp Donkey. I like the detailed bellies and it's very easy to walk once you hit open water.

Most of the other frogs have skirt legs rather than the rubber legs on the SP casting frog though. So, man, if they're hitting that Snag Proof as good as you say, don't trash it too quickly. Squeezing out the water every once in a while might be annoying, but a small price to pay for consistent hits.

I would have to say Snag Proof - Bobby's Perfect Frog. I also like the Reaction Innovations Swamp Donkey, but I have had a problem with the weights falling out. So, I just decided to stay with the Perfect Frog.

Spro.

Cut one leg in half to give it a different look.

Snag Proof Bobby's Perfect Frog. Don't try to keep the water out. Just give it a squeeze after a couple of casts. You want the body to collapse easily when a bass takes it to get the most consistant hook-ups.

My personal fav is the Spro Rojas frog. I've tried many and will continue to experiment with other frogs, but the normal Spro frog has proven itself to me. I put allot of time into perfecting my retrieve with that frog and it paid off with tons of big bass. Just go to the trips and outings section and do a search for "How many licks to the center of a spro frog?". :D

have you tried the Rage Tail toad.

I like the way it creates a comation as you rerive it, Just like a buzz bait. except without the hangups on weeds/grass.

I got a cool idea, when, and if, you glue the hole, try gluing some spinner bait skirt on that too, give a jack asz kinda look.  ;D

Bobby Perfect Frog is a nice frog, but my all time favorite for best hook up ratio's would be the original scumfrog. All in all, there both great frogs.

I would stay away from spro frogs, as I have had a few take in water on me, a few too hard to get a good hookset, and all of them I've bought I couldn't get a good hook-up ratio with.
