Whats u catch with ( rod/reel/lure/line ) And whats a lily pod She was caught at Falls Lake (Raleigh, NC), throwing a spinnerbait into flooded timer. I using a Daiwa TDS on a 7' St Croix rod. It was the only bite I had. A Lily-Pod is the "Fisherman's Tripod". It is designed to fit into your pedestal base so that you can take a pic of your catch when fishing alone. Triton21 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Great Fish Cullin5. I have seriously fished for bass almost 40 years and have only caught 3 over 8. 1 in Kansas farm pond 8lb6oz, 1 at Toledo Bend 8lb6oz, and 1 at Lake Fork(2nd annual Forum Trip) 8lb9oz. Most of my fishing has been North of the Mason-Dixon Line and 8lbers are few and far between. I have 337 over 7, most of them at Toledo Bend. Kelley Quote
