Do fish bite more or less in the rain im not doing too well as it is and would hate to sit in the rain for 2 days and get nothing - Than again a Bad day fishin is better than a good days work im told. -HAWK- Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 I have never done well fishing in the rain. It's usually cold, wet and skunked so I don't go out when it rains anymore. Some of my most productive days were in the rain. Quote

Drewster116 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 I always had good luck while fishing in the rain. I remember one time I was out striper fishing with my dad during a thunderstorm. we couldn't even see the water a foot from the boat and we were just dropping our lines a foot or 2 in the water and we were pulling fish after fish. Also did great ice fishing during snowstorms. Quote
