drop-shot fool Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 My buddy lives on the lake. He let the fish go after he got done taking the pics. I thought he ate um too, buy i called him and he said,"I'm not that stupid." Quote
ptomacbass Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Sorry for the misunderstanding. Nice fish. Quote

Md Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Assuming the second biggest is 10 lbs., the other three would have to average 7 lbs. a piece to equal 42 lbs.... I smell something fishy here! P.S. Is that a fillet board in the background of pic 2? Quote
ptomacbass Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Yes, it's definately not a 42 pound bag but still, they are some pretty nice fish. Quote
tallydude Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 The fish look dead to me. Look at their tails. They're all dried out. Anyone else ever try to symmetrically line up five live fish without them flopping all around? Quote
drop-shot fool Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I can't see the 42lbs either, but thats what he said. Supposedly the big one weighed 11.3lbs. The bass don't look that long to me, but they do have some shoulders on em'. Either way it is still alot bigger sack than i have ever caught. I figure he had around 30 pounds. Quote

Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted February 7, 2009 Super User Posted February 7, 2009 Guess I missed something I see no post about this fabled bag or picture. Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 same here, seems the first post of the thread is gone Quote
Super User Muddy Posted February 7, 2009 Super User Posted February 7, 2009 Those fish had as much life in them as Joey Gallo had laying on the floor at Umberto's Clam House. Yes that was a fillet board, yes those eyes were grey and cloudy and yes those fish were partly stiff. Quote
tallydude Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 He removed the pic. Those fish were dead. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted February 7, 2009 Super User Posted February 7, 2009 It's okay if the fish were dead. The little buck males do all the breeding anyways : Quote
Md Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 It was a pic of about 22 lbs. of 5 dead largemouth lined up on a picnic table. I'm not one to call people out, but it was so obvious. Along with the pic, he stated the biggest bass had a 12 inch catfish "IN IT'S STOMACH" along with a striped bass in it's throat. When everybody started giving him grief about killing the fish, he decided to change his mind and the catfish got puked up also. Then he got rid of the post altogether. It was GAMEOVER for him! Quote
IDbasser Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I saw this thread last night and figured he had pulled the pic so people would quit bashing on him. It sounds like he caught in a fib. :-? Quote
tallydude Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Guess the guy was desperate to impress someone. Quote
