Krzkev Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Went out hit the rim canal and few dynamite holes yesterday, and got nothing a big zero on the big O. I threw everything I had at em, and nothing would bite. I havn't gone out on the lake in years, now I guess I know why. Lately I have only heard good things about the lake, so I guess I won't give up totally on it. There was some huge gators out though, we must have seen a 13 or 14 footer trolling around out there. If anyone has any advice on gettin'em out there, other than shiners, let me know. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted December 31, 2008 Super User Posted December 31, 2008 Here's what I know or have been told. The fishing was good when the water level was way down but you had to navigate very carefully . The fishing has become harder since the water level is back to normal. The bass have moved up into the grass/shallows. IMO, people got spoiled when the water was low and the fish were driven into concentrated areas. Don't give up. Shiners are always your best bet if you don't feel like hunting. Quote
