Bassnajr Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Hey all.... They say the bass season is wrapping up here in the Northeast, but I can't say uncle... It was around 60* today, a little wind, and spitting rain. I could have stayed home and WATCHED fishing shows, or I could go out. I talked myself into going, "Not to many days left!" I told myself. Loaded up the boat and off to the local pond. Tried everything, jig, hollow bellied swimbaits, spinnerbaits, well...you get it. Nothing!!!! Then I remembered I had to large jointed wooded swimbaits; a floter and I sinker. Never used the sinker, so I said "What the hell!!??" After listening to Bassectomy every day, I decided to see what all the fuss is about. Well I found out!!!! Only two hits, but both were new PB's I guess I know what all the fuss is about now!!! I'm sold. Needless to say, I am glad I went out. LMB 5lbs. 1 oz. SMB 2lbs. 11 ozs. :) ajr Got both fish in rocky areas in about 5" of water. here's the photos!!! Quote
mattm Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Awesome! 2 pb's in one day will be a tough day to match. Quote

farmpond1 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Sweet! Two personal bests on a new (never been used before) bait. I can guess that you'll be using it more often in the future, huh?! Fishing is like a box of choc o lates-you never know what you're gonna get. Which is why it's so much fun! Quote
