Flappin for Hogs

My buddy and I had a great morning yesterday. I caught one on a soft swimbait (bass magic) and the rest on t-rigged flappin hogs and jigs with flappin hog trailers. On the next cast after I caught this 6lber my friend caught a nice 4lber. My camera batteries died after he took two pictures of my fish.

a traditional trailer and naked on a 3/8 oz Evolution

Nice catches! I wish I had that kind of fortune right now. I use flappin hogs a lot too though. They are great little baits.

Forgot to mention- that bass was caught on just a flappin hog t-rigged. (no jig)

I like the Flappin Hawg as occasional jig trailers (gives a large profile), and I've caught fish on them rigged on a 1/8 oz round jighead with weedguard. Oh, and plain t-rigged with a pegged weight & 2/0 hook, punching through the slop. Versatile little lure.
