Its been a long time since i've been on here...just thought i'd dump some pics of smallmouth and largemouth from this summer and fall so far. so far this fall i haven't had a lot of monster fish coming to the boat but some good averages. I feel confident everday i'm going to catch at minimum, a 2-1/2 lb average. The fishing is hot right now with fish exploding on topwaters, swim jigs, and rat-l-traps. The shad are good sized and the fish are eating them. Last week I had a school day off and got out for 5 hours of good fishing. Another day of 13-14 lbs quickly developed into over 16 lbs when a 5 lb smallmouth decided to eat my swim jig. Overall its been a great year, and this is the time of year i usually struggle to find the bigger fish. so far, i can't complain too much, its been good fishing for me.

Looks like you had a great year. Sorry about that 1 ounce thing, they make tungsten flippin weights for a reason. ;)   jk

Thanks guys, It has been a good year. One more tournament tomorrow then it looks like i'm done for the year. However this is some of the best fun fishing my area has to offer. The duck hunters are out, the bass boats are going to soon get winterized...and the smallies are going to be footballs. Last year i caught the biggest limit of my life, almost 20 lbs, all smallies in mid november. I can't wait, i'll share pictures as they come.

Also i modified a couple of the pics, I accidentally posted a pic of my dad twice, when i meant to post a pic of a 20"er.
